Booking status

A submitted request is not confirmed until Smile Taxi Samui sends a confirmation with the agreed route, vehicle, time and price.

Payment

Cash is paid after the trip. If PayPal prepayment is available for your booking, our team will send an invoice link on WhatsApp after agreeing on the vehicle and final fare. The agreed fare is the same whichever payment method you choose. This website does not take online payments; a quote request does not charge you.

Pickup waiting for transfers

These waiting, stop and overtime terms apply to new bookings confirmed on or after 2 October 2026. Existing confirmed bookings keep the terms already agreed.

For point-to-point transfers, the first 20 minutes of pickup waiting are free. More than 20 and up to 60 minutes costs an additional THB 200. After 60 minutes, add THB 100 for each further 20-minute period or part of one.

Pickup waiting starts only when both the agreed pickup time has arrived and the vehicle is ready at the agreed meeting point. For airport arrivals, we agree the pickup time using your actual flight arrival and time to collect bags. Time before the flight lands and delays caused by our driver or traffic are not charged as customer waiting or stop time.

Examples: 20 minutes of pickup waiting is free; 30 or 60 minutes costs THB 200 extra; 70 minutes costs THB 300 extra.

Our team will contact you before the free allowance ends and explain any extra charge. If we cannot reach you after 60 minutes of pickup waiting, the admin team may release the vehicle; continued waiting is not guaranteed. Contact us as soon as your flight or plans change.

Requested stops during transfers

Customer-requested stops during a point-to-point transfer include 10 minutes free in total per one-way journey, shared across all stops. After that, add THB 100 for each additional 20-minute period or part of one (equivalent to THB 300 per hour, billed in 20-minute periods). Extra distance or a changed route is quoted separately.

Examples: 25 minutes of stops in total costs THB 100 extra; 45 minutes costs THB 200 extra. The free allowance is shared across all requested stops, not renewed at each stop.

Hourly driver time & extensions

For hourly hire, waiting and stops count within the hours you booked; separate transfer waiting and stop fees do not apply. Extra time beyond the agreed end costs THB 300 for an SUV or THB 350 for a van per additional 30-minute period or part of one. Extensions depend on vehicle availability and must be agreed with our team.

The agreed start and end times are confirmed before the trip. Only extra time requested or caused by the customer is chargeable; delays caused by our driver or traffic do not create an overtime charge. We do not add transfer waiting or stop fees on top of hourly hire.

Agreeing on extra charges

Our team explains the applicable rates before confirming your booking and tells you when extra waiting, stops or time would incur a charge. Staff confirm the elapsed time and amount with you; submitting this form does not automatically bill any extra fee. All amounts above are in Thai baht.

Changes and cancellations

Please contact us as early as possible if your journey details change. Cancellation, no-show and refund conditions must be agreed with our team before confirmation or any prepayment. Releasing a vehicle after an unanswered pickup does not automatically determine a cancellation fee or refund.

Passenger information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate passenger, luggage, flight and contact information so the correct service can be arranged.
